Chris leads the development of Hadapt’s Adaptive Analytical Platform. Having spent the past 25 years building world-class engineering organizations in data management and data center infrastructure management, Chris’ experience enables Hadapt to accelerate product development activities and further solidify the company’s leadership position as the SQL-based analytical platform for Hadoop.
Prior to joining Hadapt, Chris co-founded Viridity Software, where he led the development of the company’s innovative Data Center Infrastructure Management solution, EnergyCenter. At Viridity, Chris also launched the Data Center Genome Initiative, now integrated into the Schneider Electric Data Center Management Suite (post-Viridity acquisition in 2011).
Prior to starting Viridity Software, Chris served as Vice President of Engineering at Revivio Inc., where he led the development of the company’s Continuous Data Protection storage appliance, and later worked to integrate the company’s CDP technology into solutions delivered by leading enterprise storage vendors.
Earlier in his career, Chris was a senior engineering manager at Motorola, where he led ASIC and software development organizations. He joined Motorola through the acquisition of C-Port Corporation, a successful semi-conductor startup credited with creating the Network Processor market in the late 1990s. As one of the initial technologists at C-Port, Chris held a number of technical and management positions.
Chris started his career as an engineer at Digital Equipment Corp., working in the Artificial Intelligence, Storage, and Networking Systems groups. He went on to work for Intermetics Inc., building software development tools for the automotive and defense industries. Later, at NuThena Systems, he developed advanced system simulation and performance modeling tools.
Chris holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Clark University.
